-Recommended Annual Inspection and Re-certification:
Calibration Standards can be damaged or become contaminated during normal use. This will result in incorrect measurement values. To guarantee their integrity and assure consistent and accurate measurement results, we strongly recommend your Standards be returned to us annually for inspection and re-certification.
-Re-certification of Your Standard - Our Highest Priority:
We appreciate the importance Calibration Standards are to your processes and assign our highest priority to this service. Every attempt is made to return-ship within 5 working days. Standards returned to us for re-certification will be inspected and cleaned, if required, then re-certified. If found to be damaged we will attempt repair at no additional charge. If repair is not possible, you will be notified immediately. For your convenience, we offer replacements at special discounts for Standards damaged beyond repair. Expedited service can be accommodated upon request.
-Shipments To Us Should Include:
Include in your shipment to us, a company purchase order with valid billing and ship-to information, a contact name, telephone number and e-mail address. Please provide a UPS or Fed-Ex account number for your return shipment. Items sent to us are shipped F.O.B. Los Altos, CA. Payment terms are net 30 days.
-Return Shipping to Domestic Customers:
We will return-ship to domestic customers via UPS or FedEx 2nd day air. Overnight return shipments can be provided upon request. Please supply your UPS or Fed-Ex account number for all return shipments.
-Shipping from Outside the United States/ Non-Domestic Customers:
Standards being returned to us for service from outside the United States should be shipped via UPS or Fed-Ex. Purchase order and shipping documents should contain the item description, serial number and the following message prominently displayed: "This item is being returned to the U.S. manufacturer for maintenance". This will eliminate unnecessary charges and delays in U. S. Customs. Include your UPS or Fed-Ex account number for the return shipment to you. All shipping costs and customs or brokerage fees shall be the responsibility of the customer.
