The Roger K. Sherman Company was founded in 1962 by Roger Sherman, the current CEO. Our original products included custom eyepiece reticules, master gauges and Calibration Standards. Our mission was to provide fast, reliable and consistent service to our customers. We have proudly continued to do so for over 50 years.
In 1970 we introduced the first universally accepted Line Width Calibration Standards. They quickly became the recognized standard of calibration for the semiconductor, biomedical and magnetic head industries worldwide.
Today we remain the recognized leader and reliable source for microscope Line Width Calibration Standards. We provide re-certification of our own products as well as those produced elsewhere and can work with you to create custom designs. All our products are directly traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards & Technology (N.I.S.T.) and are in compliance with current ISO requirements.
